This page has a lot of good info on windshield wiper motors. They are common, cheap, strong and don’t require too much power (about 12V).

I am looking for a wiper motor that turns 45 to 60 times per minute. I am trying to build a replica of the Vortex duck decoy spinning system. Any suggestions for a heavy duty 12 volt motor? I plan on mounting a Y bracket on the main shaft and would have about 4 lbs on each side.

I have not actually used a wiper motor before. It sounds like what you want though. You can get them from junkyards, EBay, or often All Electronics has them. Here’s a link to one I just found : http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/DCM-249/POWERFUL-WINDSHIELD-WIPER-MOTOR/-/1.html
