This project, by Denise Flasz, an MFA student at Parsons, attempts to create a responsive matrix of hanging fiberoptics. Using hanging switches, she hopes to create a perceivable relationship between the movement of a hand through a hanging array of fiberoptic strands and the corresponding light output. This is a link to her blog, where she has detailed her progress.
